I specialise in Holistic Counselling which can help you manage and understand your feelings, your behaviours and allow you to feel better and understand yourself. I work with body, soul and mind, they all effect each other. Maybe you are over-eating, not sleeping, not connecting to friends or yourself? Maybe you still feel the effects of your past or the here and now is too overwhelming and stressful. Maybe you are suffering the loss of someone, or something. I can work with you to understand your thoughts, feelings and behaviours and recognise and change unhelpful patterns that may effect you physically and emotionally.
Whatever your situation, some experiences can create difficult emotions like anxiety, depression, grief, guilt, sadness, isolation, confusion, anger or low self esteem, which I can help you to manage during our therapy work together. I also offer alternative ways to traditional counselling such as 'Walk & Talk' therapy and I work with removing traumas using energy psychology.

Trying to find the right counsellor can be tricky... there are so many specialities, and many different approaches...how do you choose the right one for you?
I offer a confidential chat in the first instance, you dont have to explain everything at that point, see if you like the way I work.
I view therapy as an opportunity for every person to have a confidential, supportive, and guided experience towards personal growth and facing life’s unending challenges. My style of therapy is very much like my personality: down to earth, humble, funny, compassionate. I have a sense of humour, and I encourage my clients to adopt a more relaxed attitude too. I offer empathy and plenty of support.
If you're expecting a blank screen or a robot, I'm probably not the right therapist for you. I embrace my "human-ness". I'll laugh & celebrate with you. I'll offer you authenticity and transparency, which sometimes comes in the form of an occasional necessary dose of reality. I consider each person who I work with totally unique in their experiences, and therefore I use a combination of evidence-based therapeutic techniques to best interpret, advise, explore, suggest and support.
Therapy is not a one-size-fits-all approach and so I aim to provide you with an unique response.
I have a wealth of my own life experiences to draw from and 20 years experience of working with people helping them break free from emotional and physical pain, become more balanced, healthier and happier with themselves. That's what you want right? to be balanced, have a more positive outlook and be at peace with yourself isn’t it?
